Some areas of Fondren Library are under construction but remain open. Fondren Library Blue/SIC is permanently closed.
Construction activities have been planned to minimize disruptions, but occasional noise may be associated with the renovation. Our Main Desk staff can guide you to quieter study spaces within the library. Earplugs are also available at supply stations throughout the library.

Laura Bush Promenade
The Laura Bush Promenade is open but cordoned off near the construction. When using the east entrance, please stay on the south side of the path.
Fondren Blue/Science Information Center (SIC) All Floors
Fondren Blue/SIC is permanently closed. If you need a book that is listed as offsite, place an Interlibrary Loan request.
Current Noise Level
Construction noise is from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be no to very low noise at all other times.
