SMU Libraries has agreements with two publishers, Cambridge University Press and the Company of Biologists, that cover the cost for an SMU-affiliated corresponding author’s article to be made available Open Access. This means the article will be available to read for free online upon publication. We are not able to pay APCs for journals outside these agreements, although your school or college may have funds available for this purpose.

Review the Cambridge University Press titles included in the agreement by checking the boxes next to “Open access” and “Contains open access” in the "Access" column on the right.

The following titles published by the Company of Biologists are covered by an agreement with SMU: Development, Journal of Cell Science, and Journal of Experimental Biology.
