ILL stands for Interlibrary Loan. Interlibrary Loan allows you to request items SMU Libraries doesn't own. Interlibrary Loan is a free service! We will request the item from another library and send it here for you to check out. We can borrow books, audiobooks, DVDs, music, and other items, as well as receive copies of articles and documents.
SMU faculty, staff, students and some Friends of the Library card holders are eligible to use ILL.
