Once you graduate, you will no longer have student access to the library. However, we have options to get a library account:

  1. An Alumni Card allows you to check out materials and access some databases. It ranges from free to $35 per year, depending on which college you graduated from.
  2. An SMU Libraries Guest Card allows you to check out materials. Apply for a free TexShare card through another library, such as Dallas Public Library. Once you get the card, you can apply for the Guest Card.

Off-campus access to our full list of databases is not included with either account. You are welcome to visit the libraries after graduation and use most databases on campus.
