Students have access to the library from the first day of their first semester at SMU, until the last day of finals their last semester. Your account is active over breaks as long as you are registered for classes for the following semester.
Full-time faculty have access to the library as long as they are employed by SMU, even when they aren't teaching a class.
Adjunct faculty have access to the library during the semester they are teaching. If you need early access to prepare for the semester, please contact us so we can activate your account.
Guest and Alumni accounts expire. You may need to update your account with current proof of affiliation, or pay for this year's access.
