If you are an SMU student, faculty, or staff, you can come to the library and find the book on the shelves using the call number. Take it to the Main Desk along with your SMU ID. Library staff will help you with no contact check out. 

OR

You can request the item through Library Search. It will be held for you at the Main Desk, you can schedule curbside pickup, or you can request home delivery.

Request Item Pickup

  1. Locate the item using the Library Search.
  2. Sign in to your account at the top right corner
  3. Click on "Request"
  4. Select On Campus Pickup or Personal Delivery (SMU students, faculty, or staff only)
  5. You will receive an email when your item is ready for pickup on campus or to confirm your shipping address, depending on the mode selected.
